Note: "The Art and Science of Murder," is the first of four installments in a 4-part movie miniseries. Hallmark Movie and Mystery fare (sort of) but with more action than we normally see in those movies. It follows a life coach who writes criminal personality theories on the side. She inserts herself into cases by using her psychological training and instincts to get close to suspects (in unusual ways), along with her on-off ex-fiancé, the chief deputy sheriff, a local reporter and a florid male romance novelist turned-true crime writer. Think, if "Criminal Minds" was a comedy. Three of the four installments are written and the fourth is in solid treatment form (with alternate endings). I also have a proposal for a TV series "teen mystery" spin-off featuring two teen characters who are central to bringing the chief nemesis down in episode 4. It's set in an area steeped in legends and lore, where the secret always lies with the river.

Episode 2: "Deadly Double Play"

Episode 3: "Digging Up Bones"

Episode 4: "Merry Mayhem and Murder"

This is the project that kept me sane when the world shut down in 2020. Then I went on to write the rom-coms I posted here.
