SYNOPSIS:

With Earth on the brink of silence, Kaia’s embryo is encoded with genetic enhancements for immunity, resilience, and emotional learning. She is placed in a CryoWomb Pod and launched aboard a biomechanical shuttle headed for a remote desert dome station: OBSIDIAN-7, one of Earth's few livable outposts.
