When a charismatic restaurant owner's underground Club becomes a target of a ruthless ICE immigration crackdown, he must use his resourcefulness to protect his employees and customers, but the arrival of his estranged daughter and the pursuit of a high-stakes whistleblower may risk him losing everything in a desperate bid to stay one step ahead of the authorities.

Is this a period piece?
Happy New Year Vincent, and I'm sorry for the delay, I'm still learning how to use Stage 32. I didn't see your question until now reviewing my profile more closely. Good question but no, my script is not a period piece, it's current, it does have Trump's immigrant rants in the background of the first Act to set the stage for the ICE crackdown at Harry's restaurant. The reason I said good question is because my script is loosely based on a period piece. More importantly, most of this can be shot in the restaurant location.
