A Die Hard Scenario at the MN Zoo. 

SYNOPSIS:

ZOO

Michael Barrett is a security at the MN Zoo and is hoping to settle down with his girlfriend Genie Farris. Meanwhile, a group of criminals are attempting to make off with a thousand dollars’ worth of money, but during their escape flight law enforcement tracks them down and they are forced to evacuate the money, and it lands in one of the animal exhibits at the zoo. A majority of the criminals led by Boone Renaldo break in while the zoo is having a sleep over at the zoo where kids get to “camp” at the zoo with Genie as one of the chaperones.

The gang takes the kids, staff and security hostage while Michael slips away to contact help only to learn that Renaldo’s men have cut any communications and for the time being is on his own. When Renaldo realizes a guard slipped away, he sends his men to capture him, but Michael manages to evade them eliminating some of them and leaving some in the animal exhibits leaving them at the mercy of the animals such as the carnivores (bears, wolves, tigers, and snacks) even moose, the buffalo and farm animals.

Meanwhile Renaldo finds out Michael’s girlfriend Genie is one of the chaperone’s and learns who he is and takes her hostage ordering Michael to find the money, he does and finally alerts the police who arrive. Entering the zoo, they track down and arrests Renaldo’s men while Renaldo slips away and with his last henchmen and Genie, they meet up with Michael during the exchange police catch them and the henchmen are killed while Michael and Renaldo fight and Renaldo is killed.

In the aftermath of the fight the zoo celebrates while Michael and Genie finally marry.
