A cop and anti-cop protester must thwart a terrorist.
SYNOPSIS:
WILD CARDS
Coro Mitchell is a cop assigned to a police protest that is turning into a riot, and the protestors turn violent and a riot begins and he is forced to kill one of the protestors Lane Murphy in self-defense, the lawsuits are dismissed when video evidence proves he acted in self-defense and was defending a civilian. The Murphy family is not pleased, and a smear campaign begins in his name.
A year later Coro and his wife Diane and family attend a vacation in the rustic motel, and as they enjoy themselves, they encounter a Black Lives Matter organization and some in attendance are the Murphy family including Lane’s mother Renee and brother Eric Murphy who continue their hate of him and continue to harass him and his family.
Eric and his friends begin stalking and following Coro, meanwhile a group of terrorist led by Owen Sikes take the place over and begin forcing the guest into the ballroom, meanwhile Coro finds Eric and the two are about to have at it when they see Eric’s friends being dragged into the ballroom. Coro and Eric have no choice but to work together to save their families, friends and hostages.
Coro finds images of Sikes and Eric is able to e-mail them to the police department who contact the FBI and they take immediate action. Reveling that Sikes is a former militia cult leader who is striking back at America for tolerating tyrants in the country and has had a history of violent tendances towards neighbors and others. Sikes is after the money in the vault being donated to a homeless shelter and believes it’s being used to fund an army in a 3rd world country.
Coro and Eric manage to eliminate many of Sikes men and others and soon manage to find common ground, and how the protestors turned violent while Renee and Diane have the same conversation forcing them to realize that Lane was hanging out with people he shouldn’t have been with. Eventually Coro creates a distraction allowing the police and feds to enter while Eric gets everyone out, Coro and Sikes fight that ends with Coro killing sikes but is injured as a bomb goes off, but Eirc gets him out.
The Murphy’s finally accept Lane’s death was his own fault, and let his death go, Coro returns to his job with Diane as the protestors stop harassing the Mitchell’s.
