A TV series following an African American lawyer named Darryl White. 

SYNOPSIS:

African American lawyer Darryl White is on a new case where he must defend a family’s land from being bought by tycoon Phil Dallas, the case is getting some scrutiny because Dallas’s ancestors owned slaves and the family the Wardens are Black and to add salt to it, the Dallas family used to own the Warden’s family.

Darryl learns that the family took out a loan from the bank and are now expected to pay it back only to have lost a majority of the money but so far, another attorney named Robert Bauman who had hired him and told of their situation. Dallas does everything he can for the Warden’s and the patriarch Ben Warden is almost out of time, but White manages to pull some last-minute time to get the debt paid. Then during the night Ben and his wife Jane’s daughter Colleen hears Robert talking to someone on his cell phone, the next morning Darryl learns that a loan extension was not paid, as some kind of foul up between him and Robert. Fortunately, the land will be bought by James Arnold a progressive businessman.

Darryl has one final meeting with the Warden’s suspicious of what may have happened, until Colleen mentions the loan extension and Robert was talking to someone about it. Darryl suspicious about Robert looks into his background and finds out that a majority of properties he represented ending up losing but were bought by James Arnold instead, and tracking the sales learns Dallas was never buying the land but Arnold was, and Robert gave it to him cheap.

At a final hiring for sale, Darryl arrives and exposes the scam between Robert and Arnold, and that Dallas was innocent the whole time and was a more moral community pillar. Exposed, Arnold and Robert are arrested, and Dallas admits he was aware but had no proof of their crimes and makes peace with the Warden’s.

Dallas returns home with another case settled as all the properties Arnold acquired are returned to their former owners.
