A series where an uncle who is taking care of his orphaned nephew/nieces and an aunt who is taking care of her orphaned nephew/nieces end up buying the same house through a snafu and they end up living together. 

SYNOPSIS:

THE SAME ROOF

Officer Darrin Dallas is left looking after his orphaned nephews and nieces Cameron, Sarah, and Calvin. The department helps them get a new house but when they move in, he finds a group of kids going through his things. Arresting them as home invaders a woman comes in named Katy Oliver who tells him that she is their aunt and the house is theirs which Darrin contradicts and informs them it’s his house and Cameron Sarah and Calvin confirm while Katy and her nephew/nieces Marcus, Delila and Ami argue against. At the police station where a fuss is happening, Darrin’s father Commissioner Robert Dallas enters with the retailers who reveals that both Darrin and Katy own the house due to a snafu. As a result, both own the house and are now rising the kids. Meanwhile Darrin is assigned to track down a drug ring led by Travis Saint who decides to kill Darrin and his family. Saint and his locate them, while Marcus, Delia and Ami interrupt Cameron, Sarah and Calvin’s web show and argue with them however their web show gets high reviews and try to get them to join in then during a live stream they catch Saint and his men sneaking around and Darrin and Katy realize what is happening.

Saint and his men break in, while the kids sound the alarm and avoid the criminals until Darrin and Katy arrive and while Darrin arrests the criminals Saint tries to kill Darrin but is shot by Katy. The villains arrested and the kids Saint was using to deal drugs are put in a rehab program by Katy’s father and as a result the Dallas and Oliver families end up getting used to living under the same roof.

Future episodes show romance between Darrin and Katy and a marriage
