Sequel to Troubleshooter

SYNOPSIS:

Walking home Anson Hale and his wife Kara Hale from a movie when there is a car accident Jacob and Kara witness and are able to save a man and a young man but the woman dies, Jacob works for a law firm and stands as witness as the young driver Jacob Speer is charged but is unsuccessful, his employers pin the blame on Jacob’s lawyer the popular Oliver Brent.

A year later, Anson is coming home when he finds a man injured he calls 911 and stays with him until help arrives and they find his stomach stitched and Anson’s phone rings and it is someone who knows of the accident and reveals he had kidnapped Kara and then activates a bomb in the man but the staff survive. Anson finds clues that link him to Jacob and taking him to a location where the accident took place and they realize the man they are dealing with is Adrian Porter the man from the accident and lost his wife Sharon Porter.

Meeting Anson’s boss Nancy Parks and Brent and befriending FBI Agent Diana Caster they find Jacob’s parents at an abandoned factory, and they find him and Kara, and when Nancy and Diana contact Porter he reveals that Nancy’s partner Carl Coker and Brent have been running a scam, where Coker would let Brent have inside access to his evidence and he would try his cases poorly and they split the money and the pair are taken hostage, and Jacob betrays Anson, it revealed the injured man was the one who allowed an intoxicated Jacob to drive.

Porter gives a mock trial for the people who ruined his life, and leaves them to die in a fire, meanwhile Porter takes Anson and Kara in a car ride down the same road where Sharon died, distracting him, Anson fight Porter while Kara escapes and then escapes leaving Porter to die. Nancy and Diana confirm they are safe and the bad guys were saved and will face criminal charges.

With that Anson and Kara return home.
