A soldier faces a terrorist and interference by politicians.
SYNOPSIS:
TROUBLESHOOTER
Jack Trent is a former soldier and returns home to his wife Bianca Trent and encounters love-rival Steve Doyle who is very liberal thanks to his parents a well-known liberal politician and other liberals. Then one day, Jack is contacted by a man named Nicholas Reardon a discharged Welsh soldier who seeks revenge against Jack for taking part in a mission that took out control of an enemy stronghold claiming his fellow soldiers were there and to force him to play his game he kidnaps Bianca.
The feds and cops become involved and seek to capture him do to their sources saying he is a freelance terrorist unfortunately Steve’s father David Doyle and his wife Kathy want to negotiate and give him the ransom to avoid causalities and are opposed by Governor Will Cardinal.
During the run, a hotel employee Mike Dalton is killed by Reardon and Jack manages to avoid the bombs and diffuse those, unfortunately the Doyle’s using Reardon’s actions use it as approval to negotiate and surrender the ransom.
Then Interpol enters and informs them that Reardon was discharged for the good of the service and that he cared more about bombs and weapons then patriotic causes and he was discharged before Jack’s mission and that he did not care about his unit and they were frightened of him. Meanwhile cops find out that Mike’s death was not chance but orchestrated by Reardon, after finding out Mike had a second job as a homeland security guard and one building evacuate was the mint and realize Reardon’s revenge is really a cover for a robbery, and the Doyle’s are walking into a trap. Attempts to stop them are futile and they are killed by bombing and Jack realizes Reardon was hired by a militia group to commit a robbery and is using Bianca to escape as she is a nurse.
Heading to the hospital where Bianca works and Reardon and the members prepare to make their escape with the money from the ransom and the heist, Jack manages to board the copter they are using and kills the members and fights with Reardon and wounds him as he and Bianca make their escape as Reardon and the others are killed.
Jack and Bianca return home, and Kathy who survived, is revealed to have changed her liberal views.
