In a homage to the Disney comedy family films, they made in live action an actress trains with a soldier for a movie.

SYNOPSIS:

THIS IS THE ARMY

Ryan Mason is a soldier in the army, elsewhere actress Adale Lee is offered a role in a movie, about female soldiers but to prepare for the role she ends up with other actors in a “boot camp” to help them prepare for the role and Ryan is one of the trainers.

Ryan and Adale at first don’t get along right away and are at odds, Ryan is only going along as he was ordered to by his superior officers in hopes of donations and good public relations with civilians whilst Adale needs the role in the movie. Along the way the end up making an enemy out of politician Alfred Bannett who wants to defund the military making them dependent on military contracts. Overtime Ryan and Adale begin a romance but feel it would not work out due to their different worlds. Various comical outtakes happen around them usually between Mason and Adale.

During a private date Adale convinces him to go out on, they find Bannett is actually trying to start wars so that he can sell weapons to both sides. Bannett tries to have them killed, but Ryan and Adale outsmart them all. Ryan hides Adale and goes to find the police but Adale had filmed the meeting and e-mailed it to the FBI, Bannett’s men find him by kidnapping his family, but the feds arrive and help him arrest Bannett and his men. The training complete and the movie is a success, and Ryan and Adale begin a relationship.
