A new spin and take on the myth of Theseus and the Minotaur and I hope it will be a Disney movie. 

SYNOPSIS:

THESEUS AND THE MINOTAUR

Theseus the Prince of Athans learns from his father Aegeus that many of Athens children will be sacrificed to the Minotaur a savage monster with the head of a bull by the orders of King Minos for the death of his son. Theseus decides to end this and earn his father’s crown after failing many times over by challenging the minotaur and travels to Crate, where he makes his challenge and meets Minos and his daughter Phaedra. That night Theseus enters the Labyrinth where the minotaur is and manages to subdue the creature and is shocked to find it can speak, and reveals his name as Artus a powerful Minotaur warrior and reveals to Theseus that he was captured by Minos’s son Androgeus before he was killed in Athens and one of Minos’s commanding officers Davios and didn’t kill the youth’s but beaten up and sent away and where killed by Davios who seeks the throne by marrying Phaedra and has imprisoned many of his people including his family.

Theseus feeling sympathy decides to free Artus and the other minotaur’s and they escape the labyrinth and expose Davios and encounter Phaedra and find the other minotaur’s and free them. Escaping by boat the encounter a giant sentential created by Daedalus and work together to destroy it, and encounter Davios and his men revealed to be manipulating Minos. The men and Phaedra are captured and while Theseus and Artus contemplate their situation they realize they only want to prove themselves to their families and work together.

Theseus and Artus return as Davios has imprisoned Minos and is set to marry Phaedra and free the prisoners human and minotaur and stop the wedding and defeat the villains and Davios is killed Minos now knowing the truth and in gratitude ends the sacrifices and allows Artus and his people to return home Artus and Theseus acknowledge each other as friends, and Theseus returns to Athens with Phaedra as his queen.
