A family is secretly stalked by an unhinged man hired by an activist to act against a young man who accidently killed in self-defense. 

SYNOPSIS:

THE WRONG KIND OF BAD

Eric Mitchall is a war vet who returns home and then finds a young girl about to be raped by a crazed shooter on drugs, he intervenes, and the shooter is killed. Eric is hailed as a hero and the girl revealed to be Joanne Call has well-set parents who give him a job as gratitude. However, due to the fact that the gunman named Paxton Dane was black Eric is called a vigilante and murderer, with many people thinking that Paxton was killed because he was black.

Due to the circumstances Eric is found not guilty and begins dating Joanne, Eric's parents James and Uma Mitchell file a restraining order against Dane’s family and some of their supporters due to the harassment and then one day his sister Willa Mitchell befriends a young man named Jerry Tillson despite tension namely from activist Wade Loman and Richard Stapleton. As a result, Commissioner John Peters assigns officers to watch them from time to time.

Then a few strange things start happening to the Mitchells, they are defamed and the smear campaign against them is getting worst, and Jerry begins to become obsessed with Willa to the point where he defends her and secretly framed one of her friends Breck Connor for racism. When Jerry tries to make a move on Willa, she leaves him and banishes him from her life. Then the Mitchells are called into Commissioner Peters office where they meet Karen Loman Wade’s wife and are informed, he is dead along with a few others. Karen reveals her husband had a double-edged sword to his work where he was willing to bribe witnesses and tamper with evidence. She then reveals Wade had hired Jerry Tillson to investigate the Mitchell’s and that Jerry’s real name is Mark Draper a former military academy student who was expelled for beating people up and had to graduate online. Karen wanted Wade to stop when she found out Mark was obsessed with Willa who is still at school.

Mark kidnaps Willa but she is saved by Paxton’s father and brother Jerome and Quincy Dane, Eric and Joanne arrive and he and Mark fight and it ends when police are forced to shoot Mark dead. The Mitchells are cleared and make peace with the Dane’s who decide to raise awareness about drugs while Richard reveals Wade’s actions and apologizes to the public for them while Eric and Joanne continue their relationship while Willa begins to date Breck.
