THE PRESIDENT'S SON 3

During a Christmas celebration, Tai Redding, Derick Kelson and Layla Flores run into terrorist planning to disrupt a Christmas event.
SYNOPSIS:
It’s Christmas and nearing the end of his term in a few months, James Redding is allowing a Tree Lighting Ceremony at the White House, and RWB will be performing at the lightening ceremony. Unaware that a domestic terrorist group led by Mark Slatter seek to destroy the festival. Derick Kelson is taking care of security with his supervisor Phil Weston as the event begins Bonnie sees one of Slatter’s men and is kidnapped, Tai and Layla follow and are almost kidnapped, but Derick aids them and working together alert James and Cameron who take immediate action.
The authorities arrive and Phil realizes who Slatter is and what his intentions are, and Derick, Tai and Layla manage to get Derick where Bonnie is being held and he is saved, while Tai and Layla get people out and while Tai confronts Slatter Derick arrives and kills Slatter.
The Danger over the tree lightening goes off without a hitch RWB perform, and James prepares his retirement from Presidency.

I'd advise against simply stating your characters' names in the logline. It only really works if we know who they are (for example, if you're writing a biopic on Elvis etc.) In your story, we the uninitiated don't know who Tai, Derick or Layla are. Are they related to POTUS? How do they run into the terrorists? And to say the terrorists disrupt a Christmas event is rather an ambiguous phrase. I am sure they do a little more than disrupt.
