Tai Redding, Layla Flores, and Derick Kelson return and battle terrorist during the 4th of July.

SYNOPSIS:

Sometime after the Malstrom incident Tai Redding and Layla Flores are still together and attending an Independence Day Festival where their band now called RWB (Red-White-Blue) will perform as an opening act joined by Tai’s sister joining them. They have performed at a few other gatherings while Derick Kelson will act as security, James Redding is nearing the end of his term, and while at the festival they run into Joey Cole the son of James’s former rival Anthony Cole and African American Activist and lawyer and there is some hostilities due to their shared past.

Meanwhile a group of Narco-Terrorist led by Armand Cutler seeks a cache of drugs hidden in a National Park where the festival is taking place and when he learns the First Family will be in attendance sees it as a chance for revenge due to James’s stance on drugs and being anti-drug. James arrives and finds not only Joey and reunites with his father Anthony Cole. Joey and his friends accuse RWB of getting acts because of Tai’s father and connections, and has a band of his own, made up of members from his church choir. Cutler and his men arrive and try to fool the park manager Erica Baker who introduces them to Derick who sees through the ruse and a firefight ensues, but they make it into the main lodge where Kelson joins with Anthony’s head of security and bodyguard Chris Preston to call in backup and authorities. Cutler and his men take over the park and James arrives with Secret Service, police and FBI and Anthony and his wife Tabby Cole.

Cutler and his men are identified while he makes his demands, Derick, and Chris work together to keep the visitors safe from the terrorist. Derick and Chris manage to get everyone to a safe area and leaves two agents in charge. Derick and Chris manage to defuse a bomb, and help the authorities in, while Cutler finds the civilians and get into a gunfight with the agents. Tai, Layla, and RWB manage to contact aid while Derick and Chris arrive and help them. Tai, Layla, and Joey manage to distract Cutler by luring him right to Derick and Chris who finish him off.

The Redding’s finally make peace with the Cole’s RWB perform with Joey’s band.
