A group of friends who witnessed a murder find themselves stalked after they secretly helped expose a killer. 

Some influence from Scream, I know what you Did Last Summer, Fear Street, and Lifetime original thriller films. 

SYNOPSIS:

THE MESSAGE

Steve Dacker is a young high school student, he wants to get back together with his girlfriend Poppy Bailey, and while out with friends Mark Macklin and Jo Whitley and with Andew Benjamin and Nichole Keener when they witness and film a murder and fearful they drop the film at the police station where the killer is identified as John Lester who is arrested and jailed and dies in prison and his victim is identified as Alice Weston. The group go their separate ways.

The start of the school year Poppy starts getting notes saying I know and feels like she is being stalked and shares these fears with Steve, Mark, Jo, Andrew, and Nichole. They begin investigating with Olive’s new boyfriend Trent Nichols and suspect it’s someone connected to John Lester. As time goes on the stalking worsens and soon some people are dead and the group is suspected while getting attacked by the stalker. During the final night of Halloween, Steve is arrested but escapes and then meets the sister of Alice Weston Paisley Weston and gains information that leads him to the killer’s identity. During a Halloween concert the group is attacked by the killer in a skeleton costume, and while Jo, Andrew, Mark, and Nichole are tied Poppy is told to run and uses it to get help, Steve arrives and tackles the Skeleton and reveals him as Trent or John Lester Jr. the son of John Lester seeking revenge for his father and was only pretending to love Poppy figuring out they made the video and dropped it off.

The police arrive having followed Steve and while they help Poppy and Steve free the others John Jr. arrives but is killed. Steve then reveals that when the stalking started, he went to the police officers and revealed the details of the video and had been collaborating with them to find the stalker. They even had officers watching behind the scenes, but when John Jr. figured out, they were being watched he caused a fire to separate them. John Lester’s motivation for killing Alice was because John Jr. was harassing her, and she complained, and about John Sr. for his salvage yard’s unsafe practices so he killed her.

Alice’s family thanks the group for the video and Steve and Poppy get back together while Jo and Mark become a couple along with Andrew and Nichole, moving past the stalking.
