I once learned Disney did a couple of crime/heist comedy films Never a Dull Moment and No Deposit No Return. This is what I hope can be another one. Where a young man tries to save his ex-girlfriend from a bad influence who puts them in danger, and they must escape a dangerous man. 

SYNOPSIS:

THE BIG FIX

Jake Olsen is visited by the family of his former girlfriend and aspiring musician Trinity Danielles and ask for his help in getting her back on track, fearing that a new singing group she is with are a bad influence and aren’t helping her at all. Jake also a musician visits Trinity and tries to get through to her, but so far nothing, meanwhile Trinity’s new boyfriend Rito Dewill is a bad influence and the person who is enabling it is their manager Dallas Shay who had gotten him into gambling and they ended up in debt to Lawson Breckel a crook who eventually hires debt collector Mason Butch to get them, realizing this Dallas takes them to a friend of his named Bennett Simmons.

Bennett is unaware of their situation and wants nothing to do with any illegal activities, but when Dallas reveals this to him Bennett refuses him and wants to go to the police, but Dallas nearly kills him. Then realizes he can impersonate him and drain his bank accounts with what the band makes, Dallas then gives an unknowing Jake Rito’s identity and hires aspiring actor Joey Nelwell to impersonate him. Jake finds Joey and Trinity find him when Mason shows up and tries to kill them, but they get away with Jake saving Trinity’s life.

While on the run, Jake and Trinity learn what Dallas did, and finally grow suspicious, and Jake and Joey finally get through to Trinity about how toxic and abusive Rito is. While on the run avoiding Mason who they learn is a killer and dangerous they find out about Lawson and Dallas’s gambling and how he got Rito roped into it. Trinity realizes Rito and Dallas just used her for her music and soon realizes what Dallas and Rito did.

Avoiding Mason, they soon find the police and explain everything, Trinity who had been close to Rito, is able to find the evidence exposing him, Mason finds out what Dallas and Rito really look like from Lawson and they realize the truth, while Rito finds out Trinity is with Jake and Joey and tries to help get her out of there. Mason and Lawson find them, and they reunite with Rito who now feels remorse for what he did and the police arrive and Mason and Lawson are arrested and Dallas is arrested later on, and Dallas is found alive and well and agrees to help Jake and Trinity’s careers, Rito is also arrested who accepts and finally admits he and Trinity were together for the wrong reasons, and he was a bad friend and bad boyfriend and accepts counseling while Jake and Trinity get back together, as Joey becomes a huge star.
