SUMMER CAMP

LOGLINE:

A gang of criminals takeover a summer camp forcing a counselor to take action with aid from one of the escapees. 

SYNOPSIS:

SUMMER CAMP

Ken Garrett is a former war vet for Search and Rescue who comes to work at a summer camp and hopes to rekindle a relationship with Maya Cole his girlfriend, who is being pursued by Thad Delson, a wealthy businessperson. Meanwhile a group of criminals led by criminal mastermind John Masters and his crew escape during a prison transfer. One of the criminals Martin Slate was charged for a petty crime and accidently killed someone and is reluctant to escape but is forced and plans to make his getaway. The criminals arrive at the camp and John knows it’s where he and a former partner buried a stolen cache of money before they were caught, and Ken and Maya have the campers go into hiding while they contact help, but are caught and are forced to help them, while a CIT goes to contact help. Martin helps Ken escape and goes to stop the crooks while Martin flees but decides to return and helps Ken against one convict.

Ken and Martin outwit and defeat a couple of members of the gang while Masters forces Maya to help him locate the money but find some of it missing. Ken and Martin save Maya, meanwhile Thad arrives and with a security team locates the trio only for Masters to arrive and reveal Thad was his partner who paid him to commit the crimes, the police arrive thanks to the CIT they were delayed because of Thad and in the shootout, Martin captures Thad trying to make his escape, and Ken and Masters fight and Masters is killed, Maya dumps Thad, and the criminals are returned to prison while Ken and Maya put in a good word for Martin and police back it up, and Martin is released early and takes a class and ends up writing a few prison based books. While Ken and Maya end up getting married.
