I made this as a sequel to The 6th Day, I thought it was a good movie, and with all the talk going on about "de-extincting" animals through cloning, starting with the Wooly Mammoth, I remembered this. I hope it will begin a franchise. 

SYNOPSIS:

A SEQUEL TO THE 6TH DAY

In the near future cloning is a possibility only it is illegal to clone a human, and Cody Reese and his wife Angela Reese live in a world with cloning, then one day Cody is asked to be a tour guide for wealthy businessman William Bodine who is behind the cloning but is called away to visit a cloning facility. When Angela returns home, she is surprised to find Cody in one area and then another, curious she called Cody in, and two Codys enter. Then some men show up and revel that Cody was illegally cloned, and when Angela demands to know how the men try to kill all three of them.

Having no choice after deducing which is the clone and naming him Cory, they turn to Cody’s friends in a search and rescue team including Angela’s former love rival Beth Connor, who takes an interest in Cory, to find the answers, and soon run into the same men again and defend themselves. Eventually one member Johnny Benson to be killed by a stranger revealed to be a friend of the group Manny Gainer who while injured reveals the real Bodine died years ago and has been cloning himself and others and as part of an anti-cloning fundamentalist group, they had killed the clones but is chastised by Angela for committing murders instead going to the police instead.

Manny is killed, and Bodine’s men try to kill the group to avoid the public finds out, and Angela and Beth are kidnapped, the group mounts a rescue to save them while Angela and Beth have a heart to heart, and Beth admits she had gotten involved with Cory the clone. Cody’s boss Tim Malloy shoots and injuries Bodine and damages the cloning machine and a deformed clone of Bodine is made, and while trying to fix his situation he is killed with his machines.

Now with a more modern view on cloning and clones, Cody and Angela accept Cory as a brother while he ends up across state with Beth who is now his girlfriend.
