A man begins a secret relationship with an underage babysitter, and it catches up years later with tragic consequences.

SYNOPSIS:
Tricia Oliver the daughter of Kent and Diane Oliver is the neighborhood babysitter, some of her favorite clients are the Hanson’s Clifton and Ruth the parents of baby Molly Hansen, family friends due to Diane and Ruth knowing each other since school. Ruth is considered the bread winner in the family and Clifton is seemingly proud of her but is secretly resentful of this. But then he begins to take an inappropriate interest in Tricia, then one day begins grooming her and then finally prays on her and begins an illegal sexual relationship with her at age 14 and underage and the affair continues for years but soon leaves for collage upsetting Clifton, who tries to make her stay but she leaves.
A few years later she returns and surprises everyone with a new boyfriend Eric Tracy angering Clifton especially when Tricia thinks they should breakup. While Eric and Tricia are on a jog Clifton accosts them, but Eric doesn’t know who he is or recognizes him, Clifton and Ruth’s marriage has been falling apart as Ruth tries to find out what is going on with her husband and save her marriage but finds nothing. Tricia comes over and tries to tell Clifton it is over and he is married until Clifton admits that he and Ruth are looking at divorce and tells her he just got angry seeing her with another man. Convinced that Clifton’s love is genuine they begin to consummate their relationship, unaware that Molly sees them making out but returns to bed before she sees anything else. The next morning, she asks her mother Ruth why her father was kissing Tricia, leading Ruth to question Tricia about the affair and she admits to it and inadvertently reveals it started when she was 14 and a minor much to Ruth’s horror.
Ruth plans to expose this, and Tricia confused makes the mistake of telling Clifton Ruth knows. Ruth gives a tape of their conversation to her friend Mona and makes plans to through Clifton out, the next morning she disappears and is reported missing. Clifton acts strange throwing out Ruth’s belongings, and Mona reveals what Ruth found out and Clifton is exposed, and questioning Kent and Diane they reveal the affair. Furious at Clifton they sever ties to him, and with Eric try to talk sense into Tricia, Eric realizes that Clifton was the one who accosted them, and they point out that he is obsessed with her and that Clifton is dangerous. Clifton is released and speaks to Kent and Diane and begins harassing them.
Detective Marcus Johnson asks Tricia for help and during which she will try to get information from him. Telling Clifton, she is hearing what people are saying but he dismisses it and tells her Ruth ran off and gives her jewelry that belonged to Ruth. Tricia finally comes to her senses and realizes Clifton isn’t her boyfriend but abuser and stalker and his obsession with her and seeing his true colors she tells the police that she saw him drag a rug out of his house and drive off. It’s enough to arrests him and is sent to prison. Breaking out he tries to kidnap Tricia and Molly who outsmarts him and helps Eric shoot him and Tricia denies him and stays with Eric.
Realizing he has lost, Clifton confesses to murdering Ruth when she confronted him and threatened to have him jailed and shows where the body is and is jailed for life. Tricia no longer views him as a boyfriend but an abuser and stays with Eric.
