SAINT AND REDEMPTION

LOGLINE:

A widower must save his family and others at a charity auction mansion, with aid one of the criminals a drug addict who accidently killed his wife. 

SYNOPSIS:

SAINT AND REDEMPTION

Dylan Lance is a former soldier who built up a fortune helping former war vets, alongside his girlfriend Jen whom he marries. Sometime later while returning from a charity drive, they are hit by a group of reckless drivers high on drugs, Jenn dies, Dylan ends up with a limp and the main driver Joe Davis is jailed for manslaughter.

Years later while throwing a get together for a charity auction, a group of criminals led by Alphonse Hooks breaks out of prison with a group of criminals including Joe Davis and they locate the auction help at Dylan’s private house and take over. Dylan slips away and goes into hiding to contact help despite communication being cut off and runs into Joe and recognizes him and nearly has an altercation when he decides to take him along to use. The pair manage to avoid criminals as Joe tells him about Hooks, and they are forced to kill anyone who almost catches him.

Joe also sees Dylan’s kids holding a picture of their late mother and begins to realize the mess he made of himself and willingly helps Dylan. Eventually Hooks realizes Joe is helping Dylan and is nearly killed when the U.S. Marshalls arrive and help take back the house. Hooks tries to kidnap the kid’s, but Dylan follows and fights with Hooks who is shot by Joe who saves the kids.

Forgiving Joe Dylan and his family puts in a good word for him, and Joe is released and reunites with his family, and with the Lance family’s permission publishes a book about the ordeal and finds a new job working at a drug rehabilitation center.
