A member of Search and Rescue must protect a kidnapped royal. 

SYNOPSIS:

ROYAL CHRISTMAS RESCUE

Jace Malloy is a member of the Rocky Mountain Search and Rescue, unfortunately their funding is being foolishly cut by an arrogant Mayor Augustus to fund a historic lodge turning into a shoddy luxury at the request of the owner Dell Marvin and former ski champion Garris Leed. Their previous rescue nearly turned into a disaster because of the lack of funding and Jace is unfairly blamed and suspended. Meanwhile Dutchess Anna Talson is a royal who is on visit to an award ceremony in the United States and is returning home, when the private plane carrying her is hijacked by a group of terrorist led by ex-British Special Services John Cunningham who holds a grudge against her father Lord Charles Talson for his dishonorable discharge and seeks to extort a ransom from him before executing his daughter.

A member of her security team forces them to land in the Rockies sending out a distress signal the search and rescue leader Roy Burns enlists veteran John Ullman and bring Jace along to help but they encounter Cunningham who kills John and spares Malloy to help them down the mountain. Meanwhile back at base after not hearing from them tries to help only for the mayor to thwart them and the Sheriff ends up losing his job and is replaced by Garris. However, Roy and other members are visited by State Department who inform them of everything and got Anna’s message about the attack. Roy puts two and two together and they make their way there.

During the trek down Jace causes an avalanche to get himself and Anna to escape from Cunningham who orders the men to find them. Meanwhile the search and rescue find the plan and some survivors who inform them of where Jace and Anna are.

Realizing that Cunningham is tracking them down Jace with Anna’s help slowly turns the tables on them and begins defeating each member, and soon Cunningham manages to murder two members of search and rescue and take their chopper and corners them, as Anna seems to surrender but Jace manages to pull a surprise forcing him to land and the two fight which ends with Cunninghams death.

Jace and Anna are picked up by Search and Rescue and upon returning they reveal to both the Governor Walden and Congressman Johnson, including Lord Charles Talson how Jace protected Anna and kept her safe, and how Augustus, Marvin and Leed thwarted the rescue and the bad decisions they made. As a result, Augustus’s career is ruined and loses his job as do Leed and Garris. The new Mayor Sally Manning promotes a new lodge owner Nick Harris who restores lodging to its proper glory with Manning proving to be a more productive Mayor while Jace and Anna begin a relationship.
