Another idea for Disney, The Phantom (from their Haunted Manor) and the Headless Horseman battle in a fight to the finish. 

SYNOPSIS:

PHANTOM VS. HORSEMAN

The Phantom has been imprisoned in the Netherworld and now desiring to escape he finds The Headless Horseman, and manipulating through his mother and father, sends the Horseman to Thunder Mesa to break him free.

The Horseman begins his spree of terror going after anyone who can bring the Phantom back, and a group of authorities suspect the Phantom and cannot prove it as many are trying to cover it up. Meanwhile at an asylum Steve Hunter sees the report and breaks out to check on his girlfriend Linda Cardoza who was at the home were the Horseman attacked, she is being looked after by her sister Sophia Cardoza and her boyfriend Kyle Marks who suspects The Phantom.

At a party The Phantom attempts to harm a person only to be ruined by the Horseman who realizes the Horseman is out of control, but manages to return, when Linda and Sophia attempt to stop the Headless Horseman they run from him in a asylum and the Horseman is pulled into the Netherworld where he learns of the Phantom’s trick and the two begin to fight. As Kyle and Steve drive them to Sleepy Hollow Woods where the Horseman and the Phantom to have their final showdown. Sophia and Linda manage to pull The Phantom into the real world where he and the Headless Horseman begin their final battle, as the heroes try to open a portal to banish the villains back into the Netherworld.

As they fight it nearly comes to an end when The Phantom attempts to kill the heroes when he is stabbed in the back by the Headless Horseman and falls into the vortex, using the Horseman’s sword Linda beheads the Phantom who falls into the vortex with the Horseman’s sword.

The Headless Horseman and the Phantom now trapped in an eternal battle while the heroes enjoy peace and quiet.
