A family and stalked and threatened by a murderous sadist/sociopath who becomes a danger to them all. 

SYNOPSIS:

NIGHTMARE ON THE BLOCK

A man waits on the couch watching TV, and when a couple kids enter, he takes one by surprise and kills him, then confronts and kills the other, as he leaves it’s revealed he murdered the parents while the kids where on an overnight camping trip and had raped and killed the eldest child a daughter. A young man named Logan Thomas is walking his dog Polly, and while walking the dog he notices a man named Harold Woodward on the sidewalk talking to another man in a car that is parked near him then he comes up to them and asks Logan if he has a light and when Logan tells him no, Harold greets the dog saying hey puppy and drives off, and does it again a few times but when Harold does so again Logan tells him off and tells him to shut up Harold then glares at him the next time.

In another town, the cops are trying to find out who killed the Rogers family (the people from the start of the film), and Ms. Rogers sister Denise remembers an altercation with a neighbor revealed to be Harold. From what was told the Rogers family learned he was showing the kids drugs and seemed to glorified them and upset the parents they had a fight, when the parents tried to apologize and explain their side to him, Harold became smug and showed an attitude and asked for a date with their daughter so they could further make amends and upset them even more and they told him off and demanded he keep away from their family. A background check showed Harold spent time in prison for drug possession and selling to minors and showed he could be temperamental when he wanted to be.

After that Harold begins stalking and harassing Logan and his family, and his parents Nelson and Teri learn that Harold lives in a halfway house after he got caught in drug possession and selling drugs to minors, Harold even begins to bother the family of Logan’s girlfriend Tessa. The cops led by Officer Lane tell Harold to leave Logan’s family and friends alone, and while Harold seemingly does that, he still continues to trail them and goes as far as sabotaging everything in their lives. Nelson and Teri receive a visit from Detective Frank McBride who inform them that Harold is a suspected murderer, meanwhile one of the people living in the halfway house with Harold finds out what he is doing and plans to report him as they could all end up on police radar again but is killed by Harold and wounds another who witnesses it.

Harold breaks into the Thomas family home and takes Logan and Tessa hostage; meanwhile the wounded ex-con makes to a phone to call First Responders and tells them what is going on. Harold then beats Logan and Tessa and hits Polly complaining about the disrespect they gave him, revealing he killed the Roger’s family for disrespecting him, but then Polly jumps at him and Logan escapes and tackles Harold and they fight and Logan grabs Polly and Tessa and they flee, and cops wait outside and aid them and Harold runs out with a knife demanding respect but is shot and killed.

With Harold dead, Logan and his family are safe, and they are able to continue their lives, with Denise happy to know her sister’s family is avenged.
