A couple buy a new house but are stalked by an unhinged man who owned it. 

SYNOPSIS:

NIGHTMARE NEXT DOOR

Married couple Grayson “Gray” and Gwen Kyle find a new house, it has some damages and meet the former owner, widower Dell Bradford who reveals that he bought the house for his wife Tessa Connors who died and he refuses to talk about it as it was heartbreaking since they were childhood sweethearts and after her death went into a depression and sold shares of a startup tech company he owned and intends to move. Gray and Gwen buy the house and plan to make the repairs themselves, but Dell helps out. Overtime, Dell becomes an unwanted presence and seems to grow interested in Gwen to the point of obsession and becomes hostile to Gray. Gray becoming suspicious notices some of the damages in the home are manmade and does some research while Gwen notices something odd in some of Dell and Tessa’s pictures and takes a couple to her sister Kelley and her boyfriend Danny. Gray ends up in an accident but survives and when he meets Gwen, he tells her he found out Dell’s companies failed because of lawsuits for misuse of funds, equipment and resources, from investors and some legal trouble he ended up in, meaning Dell had to sell his house. Gwen reveals some doubts in Dell’s claims of him and Tessa showing that she found out that from Kelley and Danny that Dell’s pictures are fake many of them are photo shopped and went online and found nothing to confirm Dell married Tessa or that Tessa is dead, only a restraining order she filed against Dell.

Locating a former school friend named Nancy, she tells them (no surprise that Dell would have photo shopped pictures of himself and Tessa or make claims of him and Tessa having a relationship) that Tessa was never Dell’s girlfriend and they had never been married. He was only her next-door neighbor who had an obsessive crush on her, but she had no feelings for him. Then he became inappropriate towards her, and she found a boyfriend in a person named Jack Thomas. Tessa severed ties with him when he broke into her house and got naked to seduce her. Then when he began his startup companies and bought the house for them, even though she had no interest, some investors started growing suspicious and found out that he was using their funding, equipment and resources to stalk Tessa. So they reported him to the cops, and Tessa who filed a restraining order against him and married Jack, moved to Colorado, and learn that Dell photo shoped his images in pictures of Tessa with Jack and images of Tessa with him.

Realizing that Dell is unbalanced they attempt to flee the house, but Dell tries to kidnap Gwen showing photo shopped pictures of him with her, and a fight breaks out and she tries to flee, Gray saves her and fights with Dell the cops arrive and Gray and Gwen get to them and Dell armed with a knife tries to get to them but is shot dead the last thing he says is Tessa, the name of the only woman he had wasted his life obsessing over.

Gray and Gwen repair the house and eventually meet Jack and Tessa and have their first child.
