I heard there was an intended Disney film called Night on Bald Mountain, based on the Fantasia segment of the same name. But was canceled, I wrote what I believe it should go as, and I view it as something along the line of Ridley Scott's film Legend a horror film only with the battle between good and evil. 

SYNOPSIS:

NIGHT ON BALD MOUNTAIN

“Long ago, there lived a demon so terrible that all feared it. It was the Chernabog who ruled over evil. None were safe from its malice and dark influence until a band of monks, nuns and mystics joined forces to stop it and sealed the demon in its own lair at Bald Mountain. But there is always a chance of its escape, beware The Chernabog”.

Centuries later Pat Link and his wife Gloria are visiting Slovenia and run into many strange things happening in a village and into brutish thugs who are acting on the authority of the church. Visiting the church, hoping to run into a family friend Archbishop Morgan, they learn he was replaced by fanatical Archbishop Septimus who took over when Morgan was away visiting relatives. Septimus is having those who disrupt the true order exiled or condemned and cruelly warn Pat and Gloria to leave Slovenia. Pat and Gloria eventually find Morgan and he revealed that ages ago the story about the Chernabog and how it seems to be escaping. Pat and Gloria agree to help a child named Kara with special abilities like seeing spirits from Septimus’s men, and a cult that worships the Chernabog.

Septimus’s men find them, and Pat defends Kara, as do the cult and Pat ends up fighting them off. Then a man arrives and wants Kara for a ceremony, but Pat refuses and Kara warns them that the man is a demon in disguise and Gloria asks to see his true form and he is revealed to be the Chernabog who wants Kara for a ceremony for the return of Walpurgis Night. Gloria and Pat take Kara and flee deflecting the demon with holy objects. Meeting Morgan they learn that Septimus thinks anything mystical had released the Chernabog but realizes it was Septimus’s pride and sins that weakened the Chernabog’s bonds, freeing it. They also learn Septimus has Kara’s family killed, and Chernabog prepares for Walpurgis night and sends out his minions while Septimus sends out his clergy to wipe them out. Then the Chernabog and his minions enter the church revealing Septimus himself and his false clergy released him, and admits he knows more about God then Septimus and his many sins before claiming Septimus’s soul by killing him needing a false prophet’s soul.

Pat manages to reveal this, and Septimus himself freed the demon king, and the village finally turns on Septimus’s men and Kara is revealed to be a descended of the mystics who helped the Church defeat the Chernabog and Morgan and proper monks and clergy help her give Pat the power that destroys the Chernabog and frees the village. Morgan becomes Archbishop again and the Church is restored to its proper glory while Pat and Gloria become Kara’s guardians.
