How many of you are a fan of the Muppets? I am, I used to watch The Muppet Show, Muppet Babies, Muppets Tonight, the movies, Muppets, Muppets Now, Electric Mayhem, and other related media. So here is something I would like to pitch to the Jim Hensen company: A new Muppet movie where the Muppets meet Dracula. 

SYNOPSIS:

Solicitor Johnathan Harker is hired by his employer to visit and sell property to the mysterious Count Dracula, and is joined by Kermit the Frog, Fozzie Bear, Gonzo, Rizzo the Rat, Swedish Chief in hopes of securing an old theater for their friends while Miss. Piggy keeps Jonathan’s fiancé Mina Murray company. Meeting the Swedish Chef’s relative they reveal where they are going the relative tries to stop them and reveals Dracula is a vampire (only the Chef understands him).

Continuing on their way, the group meets Dracula who welcomes them, and after some odd happenings they soon discover that Dracula is a vampire and are almost killed by his brides when the Swedish Chef saves them with garlic, wolfsbane and crosses. Escaping they accidentally destroy Dracula’s castle and seeing this Dracula vows revenge, arriving in London while his minion Renfield Dracula begins stalking Mina and their friend Lucy Westerna and her friends Arthur Holmwood, Quincy Morris, and Jack Seward. Biting Lucy, Jack Dr, Benson Honeydew and Beaker and Sam Eagle call upon their former collage Dr. Abraham Van Helsing who runs into Jonathan, Kermit and the others who call upon him as well and tell him what happened. Beaker sees Dracula as a vampire and tells the others but is disbelieved.

Van Helsing immediately deduces Lucy who was bitten by Dracula, and Piggy keeps an eye on her, then one night Kermit, Jonathan, Mina, Van Helsing, and the others encounter Dracula himself who reveals he intended to expand his territory but now will target the heroes for revenge for his castle. Van Helsing and Beaker (who is now believed) fend Dracula off with Garlic and a Cross, and the following night he hypnotizes Lucy’s mother into locking Piggy in a closet while he bites Lucy and turns her into a vampire, Lucy is locked away while the others seek out Dracula.

While Kermit, Jonathan and Van Helsing lead the others into destroying Dracula’s coffins, while Renfield battles Piggy Dracula bites Mina and Piggy arrives before Dracula finishes her and reunites with the others. Realizing Dracula is heading back to Transylvania Van Helsing and Dr. Honeydew use Mina to track him down. Van Helsing, Piggy, and some Muppet monster travel through and run into his brides whom Piggy realizes who they are and fights them off and they are killed by sunlight. Dracula abandons Renfield and makes his way to the castle.

Kermit and Quincy battle Dracula and then Dracula is killed by sunlight and stalked with a cross. Jonathan and Mina finally marry, while Jack and Van Helsing return to their work, Lucy becomes human again and marries Arthur while Quincy now works security for the Muppets who finally gain their theater.

At the end Kermit and the Muppets come together with the actors to discuss Bram Stoker and the novel Dracula.
