A young man tries to get his life back after learning he was brainwashed into a super soldier. 

SYNOPSIS:

MEMORY RECALL

Matt Jarrod is a young man working as a fisherman and boat repair, living with his fiancé Paula and his younger brother Tyler, but has blackouts and hallucinations of himself as a sort of soldier, and a woman who is in love with him, from a head wound he got as a child and has been seeing a therapist for it. Then one day he feels like he is being watched and stalked by a mysterious woman who looks like the one from his hallucinations and he blackouts and then awakens he finds himself in a room with the woman from earlier and a man named Ben Kent a PI who tells him he nearly killed someone. One of Ben’s friends do a background check and confirm something with the woman named Hazel Kendall who kisses him and reveals that Matt is actually her husband Jason Kendall who the thought was dead.

At first Matt does not believe her until they are attacked by a group of masked men and some of the attackers are killed and when Hazel is nearly killed but is saved by Matt using skills he did not know he has, and begins to accept calling himself Jason, and learns he was a US Army Ranger. Jason soon finds one of the dead attackers is Paula, and the survivor is Tyler who admits what they are saying is true and that Jason had information exposing politician Gavin Westbrook, so he was kidnapped and his memories erased and new memories implanted the life of “Matt Jarrod” including the head wound, the blackouts were him collapsing from flashbacks of his real life and real memories into was is called memory recall. Tyler reveals that he is not actually his brother and Paula is not his fiancé but employees for Westbrook sent to monitor him, and that because of his skills he was made into a personal hitman that the blackouts are also when he is sent to kill or sabotage, Tyler then admits his therapist Dr. Norman Spalding is actually one of the main scientist who had been keeping him in check. Then more mercenaries come, and Jason, Hazel and Ben flee while Tyler is killed, and the leader Mason Lombay orders them to be killed.

Jason, Hazel and Ben manage to find a safe house where some of Jason’s real memories return including Hazel, who tells him she thought he was killed in a car crash until she saw a picture of him and hired Ben to investigate. The group are captured and taken to Spalding who reveals Jason is one of their personal sleepers there are more, and they plan to use the others. Spalding has Lombay prepare Jason, Hazel and Ben for brainwashing, but they escape and Lombay is killed while Jason faces Spalding for using him and kills him.

Remembering that he knew codes to expose Westbrook’s corruption and abuse of power Jason and Hazel using Spalding’s sources use it to contact him, and expose his corruption and abuse of power as well as the brainwashing. Realizing that he about to lose everything Westbrook kills himself and his associates are all arrested.

Jason and Hazel return to their home while Westbrook’s replacement is restored and has the Feds track down the other sleepers and restore them too normal.
