A tribute to one of my favorite film series the Martial Law films sees cops skilled in martial arts defending Christmas from villains. 

SYNOPSIS:

MARTIAL LAW CHRISTMAS

Kent Riley and Dan Osano are respected cops skilled in martial arts and defuse a robbery during the holiday season crime boss Theodus Rourke is planning to ship guns into the country disguised as Christmas present deliveries and is using corrupt politician Steven Lewton to get them through or else Rourke will reveal Lewton’s connection to some of his illegal operations.

Kent and Dan are accosted many times by Officer Wade Monty who is trying to run for commissioner and supported by a few arrogant officers but are dismissed by Commissioner Richard Weston even though Lewton supports Monty for commissioner. When an informant named Nolan finds out about the guns, he reports them but is killed but supplies enough information for Weston to put Kent and Dan on the case. It is shown that Kent and Dan are close as are their wives Laura Riley and Gia Osano and that Kent and Laura’s son Davy is friends with Dan and Gia’s daughter Jin. Laura think’s Lewton’s real intentions are to get back at her for marrying Kent due to his obsessive crush on her in the past. Kent and Laura reveal Lewton used to work for her father Bob Stalplton until they had to go into hiding after Bob took money from a gangster returned the money only to learn the criminal wanted him dead. But the criminal found him, and killed him, Laura returned to Kent who was her boyfriend and married him and had Davy, Kent joined the force and became partners with Dan.

Kent and Dan almost find Rourke but lose him, and Dan finds evidence linking the shipment to Rourke and links Rourke to Bob’s murder and informs Kent he will do some investigating on a lead on his own not wanting to compromise Kent. But when Dan finds the evidence Rourke and Lewton go after him, and Dan goes to his aid and saves him and finds out everything, that Bob took money from Rourke unaware of it then returned it, but Rourke chose to kill him anyway, Lewton Bob’s former lawyer needed money for his campaign sold him out to Rourke unaware Rourke got his money back and planned to kill him anyway. Despite their best attempts Monty has already replaced Weston as the commissioner and orders some arrogant underlings to fire Kent and Dan and after learning Rourke kidnapped their families they go to the rescue and in the final battle Rourke is killed but Kent and Dan lose their jobs, and Lewton thinks he is in the clear but the victory is short lived Kent and Dad sent their findings to the FBI who thought it looked suspicious and investigated finding the truth. Then during a Holiday gala, the FBI arrests Lewton and his crimes are exposed. Monty, and arrogant officers are fired and Weston is reinstated with Kent and Dan getting their jobs back, and the families enjoy Christmas.
