A Secret Service Agent battles a militia group to save the 4th of July. 

SYNOPSIS:

INDEPENDENCE SIEGE

John Matthews is a member of the Secret Service preparing a national park for the arrival of the President where fireworks will be set off, unknown to them militia terrorists led by Carlton Nichols to set bombs off at the area. The President arrives and his son Denny sneaks off and meets two kids named Erin and Bobby and they witness Nichols and his men murdering a reporter who had criticized them and are taken hostage. Erin calls police as Denny calls his father and secret service and the FBI and Secret Service is notified as is John and they assist. John learns who Nichols is and decides to track down the group as recon and gets help from park ranger Nancy Stafford. They locate the base and John guides the teens out, and Nancy gets them to safety and John derails them on another direction. John later reunites with Nancy and the kids, and they make their way back to basecamp while being trailed by Nichols the group encounters some of Nichols men but survive.

A bomb squad manages to locate the bombs, but Nichols decides to set them off early, John finds Nichols has a detonator and confronts him and the pair fight and John manage to knock Nichols off a bluff and to his death as the last bomb is disarmed. The militia group is defeated, and the fireworks go off without a hitch as Denny continues to hang out with Erin and Bobby.
