SYNOPSIS:

I WAS A TEENAGE CLONE

Eve Banks is a teenage girl living with her reclusive father Brad Banks since the death of her mother Tessa who was killed by Jensen Reed who was obsessed with her. The only person they speak to most of the time is Brad’s boss William Packard the owner of a genetics research company. When Eve starts having strange dreams that are remnants of her mother and is allowed online friends namely a boyfriend named Pryce James. Deciding she has had enough seclusion and wants to see the world she runs away off to meet Pryce.

Finding Pryce’s house, she asks the couple to see him as she is his girlfriend, the couple looks confused and tell her she has the wrong house, and when they see the pictures, they tell her Pryce is actually their son Alan Connor. Meeting Alan for the first time, he sees the pictures of Eve’s mother and recognizes her as Tessa Reed, Jensen’s wife. Eve asks to meet them, and learns from Tessa that Brad was her neighbor who had an obsession with her, but when he was becoming inappropriate with her she severed ties with him and married Jensen who was her real boyfriend.

A group of people attack them, and attempt to kidnap Eve, but Jensen fights them off, and they capture Brad and using his computers gain access and find out a terrifying truth, Eve isn’t Brad and Tessa’s daughter, she is Tessa’s clone. She was created by Brad because Tessa married Jensen instead of him and planned to transplant himself into a clone of his younger body when Eve grew up, and that he and Packard’s staff posed as Eve’s online friends and that Packard is planning to create clone soldiers for the black market. Eve soon learns all of her vague memories are fake implanted memories Brad made for her, and the dreams are Tessa’s memories through a mind link. Eve no longer knows what is real, and is upset her whole life is a lie, but Alan begins comforting her, and the two begin to fall in love.

The group are kidnaped and taken to Packard who attempts to reprogram Eve, but Alan frees them, and the group makes their escape, and Brad tries to stop them but is injured and killed and abandoned by Eve who knows he is not her father and only created her for himself. Jensen faces Packard and, in a fight, reveals that Alan and his parents have exposed his evil actions and the authorities arrive, and Packard is killed.

Packard’s company is ruined, and Eve is taken in by the Reed’s as a ward and begins a normal childhood, making real friends at last, with Alan as her boyfriend.
