An inspiration of two popular books that were made into good movies, True Grit and No Country for Old Men where a group of officers track down a gangster who committed a murder who ends up running from a killer leading up to a final showdown.  

SYNOPSIS:

HUNT FOR JUSTICE

Two youths named Nate Gabriel and Alek Forbes find the scene of a drug deal gone wrong and dead bodies and with drugs a case full of money. Alek wants the money and drugs, but Nate decides to turn them in to the law and had already called the police officers. Two officers arrive and prepare the scene to be processed for evidence when Alek grabs a hidden gun and kills the officers and after an argument with Nate kills him and runs off with the drugs and money.

The incident is caught on camera and used to show what happened, FBI Agents Frank Matthews and Joel Norris are called in to work with Texas Ranger John Ellison to find him and are joined by newcomer Viola Walters due to the face that Alek had joined gangster James Rock, and unknown to them the money is being tracked by a dangerous hunter/mercenary Elvis Rourke who leaves a trail of bodies and manages to avoid the law.

The officers follow Alek’s trail they encounter some of Alek’s associates like buyers while Rourke and manages to avoid him and discover the tracker and get rid of it and soon find out who Rourke is. While questioning one of Alek’s friends, Viola runs into Alek and is captured by Rock’s gang but leads the officers right to them, along with Rourke and John and Rourke make a truce against the gang while Joel and Frank help Viola and Alek is arrested, and John and Rourke confront each other, and in their fight Rourke is killed.

The gangs are brought in, and the money and drugs are brought in as evidence. The group stays in touch but go their separate ways.
