An undercover cop must help the gang he infiltrated survive certain death.
SYNOPSIS:
FLASH TRUST
Jack Chavez is an undercover officer, sent to infiltrate the gang of Darryl Gordan a smuggler who collaborating with gangster Dent Hicox, Darryl has the respect of his community who has been covering for his crimes due to their distrust of the police. Jack infiltrates them over a few months and befriends him and his sister Sayra Gordan. Then one day when Jack finds enough evidence to bust both Darryl and Dent, but when Dent comes over, he intends to kill him and take over his smuggling business, and in a moment of tension Jack is forced to reveal he is a police officer, and other officers appear and arrest Dent and his men and Gordan.
During the transport they are attacked by other criminals working for Dent and after freeing him orders Jack, Darryl, and Sayra dead. The group has no choice but to work together to survive. Jack and Darryl manage to get everyone to cover while fending off Dent’s men. Jack’s superior officer MacDonald is killed before he retires, Darryl pins the blame on cops while Jack pins the blame on Dent and Darryl for turning to crime and that they made decisions the cops had nothing to do with and stop blaming cops for society’s problems and take personal responsibility for their own actions.
During the siege Bently one of Darryl’s hoods who hates police and obsessed with Sayra betrays them to Dent and is killed. The group makes it to the mansion of lawyer and politician Nicholas Belton who is also anti-cop but soon reveals he is working with Dent and has been defrauding the city to make money off lawsuits against the police.
Sayra is taken hostage and Jack and Darryl make a final stand against them, Jack kills Dent and Darryl kill Belton and Sayra is saved. Benton’s true colors are exposed, and the police get their funding back and Darryl agrees to function as an informant for the police as Jack and Syra begin a relationship.
