Rival gyms go head-to-head amid a criminal using it to gamble. 

SYNOPSIS:

EAST AND WEST

In a martial arts tournament, there is a shown rivalry between Chinese Martial Arts fighter Dian Zheng and his group the Tian Yin and the Japanese fighter Kenn Rotaru and his group the Kyo Rai, their fight ends in a draw, and they go their separate ways. Soon they begin taking in new pupils from other ethnicities to help them. Dian’s best fighter is a fighter named Casey Ryan who begins a romance with his daughter Jenn, while Kenn’s best fighter is a fighter named Alex Rhodes who begins a romance with his daughter Kitara.

In an upcoming tournament Tian Yin and the Kyo Rai will face each other with Casey and Alex fighting each other. Meanwhile a gambling tycoon and gangster Peter Brolly plans to fan the flames of the rivalry and profit from it and enlists aid from a Triad group known as the Black Talon led by Mik Shung and a Yakuza known as the Iron Claw led by Taji Okada. The Black Talon makes it appear the Dian Zheng is assaulting the Kenn Rotaru while the Iron Claw does the same to the Dian Zheng. As a result, the rivalry escalates as does the rivalry between Casey and Alex.

When Dian goes to face Kenn he sees him fending off an attack by some Japanese and helps him and sees the Triad tattoos and mentions seeing tattoos on one of his attackers which Kenn links to the Yakuza and confides in their daughters and their champions concerns they are being played.

Collaborating with police they soon learn of Brolly working with Shung and Okada, and during the match the Black Talon and Iron Claw kidnap Jenn and Kitara to force them to fight. During the fight Dian and Kenn manage to call on their old friends to save them and expose the real criminals. While Dian and Kenn battle the thugs and Brolly Casey and Alex battle Shung and Okada and defeat them.

Brolly is defeated, and the villains defeated the gyms make peace and Casey and Alex have a rematch though it’s unknown who wins.
