A family helps a ghost crossover to the afterlife. 

SYNOPSIS:

CHRISTMAS WITH A GHOST

The Capper family parents Sam and Lacey and their kids Trent, Eric and Sarah move into a new house before Christmas. Then one day Sarah accidentally unleashes a ghost at first the family dismisses this until they see him and cornering them introduces himself as Henry Ralphson and begs them to help him crossover, desperate to be rid of the ghost they agree.

The Capper’s learn in life Henry was a messenger but was framed for a crime he didn’t commit during the1980’s and agree to find the letters proving his innocence. Though it will take a little time to find it, during which Henry learns that Trent has a crush on a girl named Michelle and helps him get her attention and asks her to a school’s Christmas dance.

Sam and Lacey find out that Henry is the granduncle of Matthew and Cathy Ralphson, and they have a daughter named Gloria and because of Henry being framed they were the town’s pariahs. As Henry learns more about the final details of his life Henry realizes he was framed by his former partner Walter Markland was embezzling money and when Henry found out Walter killed him and framed him and disguised it as a suicide. Walter even stole Henry’s ideas that helped many businesses and the town prosper.

Sam, Lacey and Henry learn that while Walter passed on, his descendants Ryan, Rupert, and Moria Markland run the town with an iron fist after Walter made himself out to be the town hero, known as the Markland Trio, who find out what the Capper’s are up to they try to ruin them and their lives with false stories and faked evidence. Henry defends the family when people turn on them, and the kids soon find the evidence in the abandoned bank and with help from Henry secretly air it during the Markland Trio’s interview about Walter and their fraud and lies are exposed.

Walter Markland is permanently and posthumously branded a disgrace, while Henry is made into the new hero, and the Markland’s namely the Markland Trio loses their control and other crimes are revealed, the town apologizes to the Capper’s and Trent and Michelle reconcile as Eric begins dating Gloria, the Ralphson family is put in new light and becomes wealthy. As this happens the Capper’s bid a tearful goodbye to Henry and show him to the Raphson’s who bid him goodbye with Henry’s sister Nita and Henry leaves to the afterlife and reunites with his wife in heaven and watches over everyone for Christmas.
