A federal agent protects a family over Christmas and falls for a local woman in the town they are hiding out in. 

SYNOPSIS:

CHRISTMAS BURN

James Braur works for a power high-rise firm but one day before the Holiday season he finds out his boss Leonard Carlton is a member of a powerful criminal syndicate and secretly turns him in. But is able to make bail and finds out it was James, so he and his family are put into witness protection, and Agent Steve Ryan is assigned to protect them.

Relocating to a small town, James and his wife Sarah Braur and their kids Nick Charlotte and Dave try to make the best of their situation and soon befriend local Jean Willis and Steve is introduced as a brother of hers. Overtime Steve manages to doge any criminals looking for the Braur’s and soon becomes closer to Jean much to the chagrin of her ex-Tad Beauford who starts researching them. Meanwhile Carlton produces a new way to eliminate James; by posting an ad looking for them and soon Tad’s friends find it and answers unknowingly leading Carlton’s gang to them, but Tad learns who the Braur’s are.

Tad reveals this information at a party the Braur’s are at, and Steve realizes the truth and attempts to get them to safety only to learn the kids were kidnapped. Steve enlists local law enforcement to help after revealing his status to them.

In a sting they rescue the kids from Carlton’s henchmen Braxton and Braxton goes to the party to take Jean hostage and Steve saves her and reveals his identity to her and James tells them the reason for the deception. In the fight Steve kills Braxton and saves Jean, Tad is arrested for putting the Braur’s at risk, and James’s testimony puts Carlton away for good. The Braur’s decide to stay with their new lives while Steve begins a relationship with Jean.
