Two mismatched police officers are partners and investigate a major case. 

SYNOPSIS:

BLACK AND WHITE

James Black is a wildcard but decorated police officer willing to take a bullet to save anyone, and due to a merging with precincts he is paired with by the book police officer Alex White and because their boss Chief Willis thought it would be interesting, Black is white and White is black (a running gag is this mentioned by everyone they meet even suspects).

During their shift they are assigned to investigate the murder of a woman named Dory Evers who was helping victims of abuse, and during their investigation found a group of thugs claiming to be a cleaning crew but Alex realizes they are criminals and exposes them and James finds one escaping and shoots him, and they find he was trying to steal evidence showing that Dory had learned of a sex trafficking ring, and realize she was killed by the ring and that she might have been betrayed.

Willis orders them to continue but in private so as to not raise suspicion, and Alex links the betrayal to a former boyfriend named Jonn Daggin who was obsessed and possessive of her and sold her out to get back at her. James and Alex corner him but he is killed by a sniper, and James finds evidence that the group had employed professional killers. James and Alex are soon captured by an enforcer named Rod Bernard and brought to their leader Dola Cruise who has been blackmailing officials under death threats into helping her.

Though they are nearly killed Ales escapes and he and James fight back, sending a signal to Willis, backup arrives and the girls are saved and freed while Cruise is arrested Bernard tries to escape but gets into a fist fight with James revealing they know each other from the military but Bernard was discharged due to his habit of going in for the overkill on missions. James wins, and as Bernard is being arrested, he tries to open fire, but James and Alex kill him.

The case solved, James and Alex continue their partnership and reunite with their loved ones.
