A potential Disney film and throwback to the live-action family comedy films they used to do. I just don't know which version is better: one where a lifeguard wins the lottery and is targeted by a gangster, or a lifeguard is an heir to a fortune and is targeted by a gangster.

SYNOPSIS:

BILLION-DOLLAR LIFEGUARD

Alec Danning is a lifeguard, and one day he wins the lottery, despite his new wealth he doesn’t know what to do with it. Meanwhile criminal Wade Tolliven meets with crooks Benny, Eddie, and Monty who owe him money and they find out and decide to steal the money from him, even though Alec decides to use it to help the beach where he works and meets with his girlfriend Molly Franklin to discuss his plans. Benny, Eddie, and Monty try several ways of stealing the money and end up failing due to their bumbling and Molly’s job at the local aquarium. When Tolliven tires of their ways he kidnaps Molly and lures Alec into a trap. Meeting Benny, Eddie, and Monty he finds out they borrowed money from Tolliven and need to pay him back and are after his winnings.

Alec manages to escape and with the animals save Molly and with help from a now repentant Benny, Eddie, and Monty defeat Tolliven and has him arrested. In the end Benny, Eddie and Monty end up with community service but eventually find honest jobs, the money helps the lifeguards and Alec marries Molly.

Alec Danning is a member of the Danning family of billionaires but not feeling like the office type he decides to find his own thing and ends up becoming a lifeguard. Meanwhile criminal Wade Tolliven finds out who he is and sends criminals Benny, Monty and Eddie to find a way to extort from him. Alec finds out he is expected to take over the family company but doesn’t feel like it’s his thing, while his younger sister Sally wishes she could take over the family business.

Through a series of mishaps and bumbling from Benny, Monty and Eddie Tolliven decides to get the money himself and they kidnap Alec’s girlfriend Molly Franklen, and lures Alec into a trap. Alec and Sally save Molly and with help from now repentant Benny, Monty and Eddie they defeat Tolliven and turn him over, then Sally secretly demonstrates her business skills proving he is capable of running the family business. Benny, Monty, and Eddie find new honest jobs, while Alec continues his job as a lifeguard and marries Molly while Sally finally fulfills her dream and successfully runs the family business.
