A Disney anthology film based on a segment from the Disney film Make Mine Music. Where a dinner through the years encounters different people through the years. 

I saw it years ago. I only paid attention to the music and animation.  

SYNOPSIS:

ALL THE CATS JOIN IN

At a popular diner a couple Dean and Sarah Carter raise enough money to help a popular diner and melt shop known as Goodman’s stay open despite the works of crooked businessman Mayfeild Cooke to tear it down to build a seedy and shady casino like ones he owns (segments show Goodman’s through the years with musical numbers).

From the 40’s to the 50’s shows how Goodman’s was built and established.

From the 60’s to the 70’s some important pop culture and the Civil Rights Moment.

From the 80’s to the 90’s forbidden romance with people of different skin colors and the cops fighting gangsters and a young Dean and Sarah meeting and making music.

Early 2000’s and on Dean and Sarah save Goodman’s from Cooke and expose his criminal operations.
