A young teen, his ex-girlfriend and a group of teens find a stash of drugs hidden with a studio. 

SYNOPSIS:

HIGH CHARGE

Dean Morgan is an aspiring performer, but when he finds out his ex-girlfriend Mai Costello another performer is in a downward spiral with a new boyfriend and performer named Brad Collin leader of a music group called the Astros who is anything but good to her, he realizes he still loves her, and sacrifices a planned future for her and goes to California to win her back.

When he arrives Dean finds out that something is not right with Brad and tries to win Mai back to no avail and soon runs into a group of teens: Jason Define, Sara Gonzalez, Mitchell Baker, and Lucy Harper who reveal that Brad bullied them and sexually harassed them. Setting it up so that they can meet Mai at Brad’s private studio where he and his group practice, when she runs inside, they follow trying to get through to her but soon find a stash of drugs hidden inside. Running out they run into a stranger coming up and he learns they found the drugs, he tries to kill them but is distracted by Dean and they escape inside. After boarding themselves up and trying to contact the police officers only to find communication was blocked by the man. There Mai finally learns that Brad is the real bully and sexually harassed them and finally sees him for the abuser he really is. The group discover that more men have arrived and are now trying to get in but are blocked each time.

One of the men sneak in but is caught Dean and Mai learn they work for a drug lord named Reginald Armando and that Brad and the Astros money for their studio and equipment and they have been selling drugs to pay it all back, and will stash other drugs and some of Armando’s men will come to pick up the drugs or check inventory and now the drugs are compromised Armando is on his way.

As the group rushes to contact police Dean and Mai end up back together, and they finally send an SOS to police as Armando arrives and finds out what has happened. As they seek to enter the studio before the police arrive the group finds an escape route and outwit the criminals while Armando finds Dean and Mai and ends up trying to kill them but is stopped by police who swarm in and arrest the gang Armando tries to escape but ends up falling off the roof and dies. The Astros are exposed for drug dealing and Brad is arrested, and Mai breaks up with him by punching him in the face and Brad ends up in prison and the Astros popularity is ruined while Dean and Mai end up back together and form a new music group with the cause of steering kids away from drugs.
