A young girl is stalked by a pedophile who made her a target in her childhood. Some is based on actual events. 

SYNOPSIS:

A STALKER’S OBSESSION

Sally Cutter lives with her parents Dale and Brenda; a young girl they make friends with neighbor Mick Hilton who helps Dale put a playhouse up for Sally. Then one day he starts leaving gifts in it secretly and convinces her to keep them secret from her parents. For a couple weeks she does until her grandmother finds out and tells her that Mick shouldn’t be doing this and concerned they tell Dale and Brenda who go to the police and learn Mick is actually a registered sex-offender (they live in an area where registered sex-offenders don’t need to go door to door), and due to violating his release Mick is arrested, but that was the beginning of the nightmare.

A few years later Mick is released and has become obsessed with Sally and secretly begins stalking her, and her family is unaware of it. Mick follows her to school where he finds that she is interested in a boy named Liam Morgan and also finds out she has a rival named Gwen Fielding. Mick sabotages Gwen to fail cheerleading tryouts then attacks her violently and begins a smear campaign against Liam making him out as a rapist and criminal then frames him for possession. The school principal Karl Johnson sees him and begins to grow suspicious and questions him and is killed, and his death looks like an accident. Officers Hank Banner and Heidi Woods are suspicious especially when they learn of a stranger wondering around claiming he was a new janitor or maintenance only to disappear.

Mick also begins targeting Dale and Brenda for revenge making them look bad at their jobs and Brenda is fired when company money is found on her, and when a fire is set at Dale’s workplace, he is unable to work and attacks the grandmother who convinced Sally to oust him and got him arrested and kills her. Meanwhile Hank and Heidi look into the Cutter’s lives and learn about Mick and that he was released, and while keeping a vigil see him going after Sally and they stop him as Sally remembers him, some bystanders think the officers are assaulting Mick and inadvertently help him escape, the bystanders are arrested. The family now knows what has been going on and take precautions, and during the night Mick breaks into their house and attacks Dale breaking his legs and then ambushes Brenda and goes after Sally who flees. Mick finds Liam helping her escape and tries to attack them, but Sally rejects him and insults him. Brenda intervenes with Heidi who shoots him and kills Mick. Their nightmare over the Cutter family goes on with their lives.
