PITCH:
It’s 1976 in Key West: a sun-bleached paradise where drug smuggling is an art form and everyone’s chasing something—freedom, fortune, or just a good high. Into this world drops Travis Burner, a sheltered 19-year-old from California, visiting his sister Corky, who’s shacked up with local smuggler kingpin, Loopy Lancaster.
Travis’s vacation quickly spirals into a bizarre odyssey: he gets beaten up, defiled, abducted, shipwrecked, and ultimately awakened—to love, to truth, and to the strange cosmic power of Porcha Guevara’s legendary meatloaf.
Porcha, a smuggler goddess wrapped in mystery, disappears just as her secret recipe becomes the most sought-after object in Key West. One thing’s for sure, aliens are desperate to find her meatloaf. In the quick love chaos of Key West, Travis Burner falls for Porche’s sister, which accelerates his involvement in surreal clashes with pirates, aliens, and, of course, humanity-saving meatloaf. As so many band together to find Porche, they uncover more than just syndicate plots—they begin to suspect that Porcha’s meatloaf might hold the key to existence, itself.
Porcha Guevara’s Meatloaf is a rollicking descent into madness that dares to ask: Can a drug smuggler’s meatloaf really save humanity?
