In a city overrun by moronic shenanigans, an eclectic group of citizens exacts vigilante justice on anyone guilty of misdemeanor crimes against humanity.
SYNOPSIS:
In MacMurphy’s Irish Pub, a melting pot of various ethnicities and socio-economic classes, SCRAPPY tends the bar with a smiling iron fist and tolerates no bullshit. As she chats with her regulars, she must also pacify her irritating, high-maintenance patrons.
Among them, a COUPLE erupts into an argument that almost becomes violent. Scrappy, aided by her favorite regulars, VINNY, EDDIE, MIKEY and JEZZY, escorts the couple outside. There the squabbling couple defy stereotypes in revealing their true, awful natures and Scrappy must send them home and sort through the aftermath.
After closing the bar, Scrappy shares a drink with her regulars. While doing so, they have a light-hearted philosophical discussion that illustrates their ability to sift through complex situations with a laser-focused clarity that can identify douchebags and the sins they commit.
After theorizing about what they could and should do with these skills, a drunken patron awakens in the corner of the bar and declares that they should simply accept their fate and exercise their authority as THE MORALITY POLICE.
