In 1976, three teenage stoners form a shock rock/punk band called The Mentors. The band's shocking, onstage antics, hedonistic lifestyle, and transgressive music is immortalized by its alcoholic drummer/singer El Duce, whose mysterious death in 1997 is infamously linked to the death of Kurt Cobain.
