SYNOPSIS:

The threat Rensa poses to Galea, who Elias finds himself falling in love with, begins his transformation into the monster he was born as, kept at bay all this time by the Head of the Maginist Order. His relationships are largely unaffected, although his loved ones worry about him. Galea meets her other father, who the Sar Ala (Star People; Elias’ kind) manipulated into creating her, and he explains that her real mother, her nursemaid Sarah, was used for this purpose. Elias struggles to remain himself, his usually mild personality weaker than the aggression of the Sar Ala, and he pushes everyone away, even Danbo and Galea. He even fights Eela and Karna, who, it is discovered, became top-level Maginists (magic-users) thanks to the manipulation of the Sar Ala. Eventually, Elias succumbs, fully transforming into a Sar Arsam (Star Person), and attacking those who stand in the way of him being with his people, including those he used to love. He eventually joins his kind in a war against the Maginists.
