In 2021, a group of high school friends discover a secret time machine and travel back to 2002, where they meet their parents and experience life from another era. Pierce, whose father Aidan once failed to graduate, helps teenage Aidan overcome academic issues and personal setbacks, potentially altering their future for the better. Charlotte also intervenes to save her father from being wrongly imprisoned. The teens grapple with family secrets, identity, and the consequences of changing the past.
