The story follows Blaine, a gay stripper in 1997 Arizona, as he navigates complicated relationships, family struggles, and the dark world of an exploitative strip club, Big Daddy’s Club.
SYNOPSIS:
Blaine, a stripper in 1990s Arizona, juggles family rejection, trauma from past abuse, and an intense relationship with Bradford, an older, closeted banker. Blaine’s work life is dominated by Monty, the abusive owner of Big Daddy’s Club, who manipulates and exploits his employees and is later revealed to be a criminal. After the overdose death of a friend, the FBI gets involved, exposing Monty’s criminal activities. The climax includes Monty’s suicide, family conflicts coming to a head, and Blaine choosing to leave his old life behind. Ultimately, Blaine finds love and stability with Bradford as they start a family and move away with supportive friends, showing growth and freedom from their troubled past.
