After meeting a handsome newcomer to her town, the spunky owner of the animal shelter sets out, with her best furry friend, to show him the magic of Christmas, only to find out he’s there to shut her down.
SYNOPSIS:
Charlie Moore is as spunky as she is caring. Running the Hope Harbor Animal Shelter is the highlight of her life, and her senior labrador, Vera, is the love of it. But with money tight in a small town, change is always inevitable.
Enter Alex Turner, the real estate developer assigned to convince the stubborn Charli, in person, to sell the shelter. He’s tried by phone for months with no success, but he knows no one can say no to his charming smile. So, shifting those city looks to hometown flannel, Alex heads off to win his quest, but fins more then he bargains for when he runs, quite literally, right into Charli. As charming as he is, and a free spirit he admires, this might be tougher than he anticipates.
Charli is just as charmed. That is, until she figures out who he really is. Armed with this information, and the help of her parents, Charli strikes a deal with Alex. Give her until the Annual Christmas Gala to show him why Hope Harbor is so special, and, in return, she will listen to his proposal. But the charm of this beautiful little town during the merriest season wins him over. He seems perfect. In fact, Vera, and a new rescue, Garth, really seem to be taken with him. He seems to be taken with Chari and all he can think about is helping her cause.
Alex’s father, the owner of the development company, has other plans, and sweeps into town to ruin everything.
Will Alex stand up to his father and tell Charli how he really feels? Will the magic of Christmas win? And will the love between two total opposites be enough to save the day?
