"Makin' It", is an hour drama series about Jessie, who had been trying to make it in the music business ends up taking time off to raise his son. Now, that he is in his mid-thirties and is trying again to reach his dream, he discovers he has a medical condition that has affected his voice but, then his 12 year old unassuming son, Joshua, who has a gift for singing gets the opportunity that Jessie has always wanted and they must embark on an emotional future together, that neither one of them had expected.
