SYNOPSIS:

'Vampeer Saga Part I: Dukun' begins in ancient Dacia, where Deceneus, a priest, is granted longevity by Zamolxis to protect his people from the Roman Empire. Deceneus creates vampires to fight the Romans but regrets his decision when they become uncontrollable. In present-day Singapore, Netra Setiawan, an ICA officer, experiences vivid nightmares and discovers she can see past events, helping her uncover hidden truths about criminal cases. Netra's abilities are recognized by her boss, Wang, and the Police Force, leading to the formation of a Special Investigation Unit. While working on cases, Netra's nightmares intensify, revealing glimpses of epic battles and a mysterious figure calling out 'Vlad'. Netra's sister, Kirana, dies in a tragic accident, prompting Netra to visit her grandmother, Nenek, in Indonesia. Nenek reveals the family's history with Deceneus, an ancient Dacian priest who visited their ancestors every 50 years. Netra learns that she is the reincarnation of Vlad Draculea, whose soul entered her body at birth, causing her nightmares and seizures. Nenek reveals that Netra must make a choice that will determine her fate and guides her towards Deceneus. Netra enters a mystical realm where she meets Deceneus, who confirms her identity as Vlad and explains her unique connection to this realm. Deceneus reveals Vlad's past, his transformation into a vampire, and his fight against the Ottoman Empire. Netra learns about the nature of vampire souls and their inability to reincarnate normally. Deceneus reveals Netra's potential and the multiple abilities she possesses, demonstrating telekinesis and conjuring Kirana's spirit. Deceneus explains that Netra's 'home' is this realm between space and time, and she is destined for greatness.
