SYNOPSIS:

A stage/teleplay set in the 1970's, "A Conversation Regarding Marion Morrison on the Occasion of his Death" is a sci-fi-fantasy, Twilight Zone style drama about a wounded combat veteran of the Vietnam War, now dead and passing to the other plane, along with another older WWII vet, who together see the "spirit" of a great American Western movie star, considered an American hero. John Wayne (whose real name was Marion Morrison and who does not actually appear in the piece, he is only talked about) who has also passed away. The two wounded veterans proceed to examine their lives with the help of Marge, a café waitress (who's a lot more than a café waitress) to make sense of his life, his war experience, his resulting disability and now his death.
